Motorsport – A Family Tradition
Matyas Vladimír Vitver comes from a Czech motorsport family with a racing heritage spanning several decades. From an early age, he grew up surrounded by racing circuits, race car preparation and international motorsport competitions.
At just a few months old, Matyas was already accompanying his family to rounds of the European Hill Climb Championship. His father, Vladimír Vitver, is an accomplished Czech racing driver, with five European titles in the FIA European Hill Climb Championship, a prestigious Golden Steering Wheel award and extensive experience in circuit racing.
The family-run SVC Racing team has many years of experience in the development, construction and preparation of racing cars, as well as competing in international motorsport events. This expertise is supported by the technical and manufacturing capabilities of SVC GROUP, a company specialising in the development and production of automotive components, which has also supplied parts for Audi racing cars operated by ABT Motorsport.
Growing up in this environment allowed Matyas to experience motorsport not only from a driver's perspective, but also as a technically demanding team sport. The work of mechanics, engineers and designers, race car preparation and performance analysis were all part of his everyday surroundings.
The Beginning of His Racing Career – Karting
Matyas began his racing journey in 2020, at the age of eight, when he started training systematically in karting.
From his earliest sessions, often held in challenging winter conditions, he gradually developed his driving skills, racing lines, racecraft and ability to compete against other drivers.
He progressed into Czech karting competitions before moving into international racing, particularly in Italy.
The 2022 season marked an important milestone. Matyas became Czech Champion in the EASY 60 category, won the Czech-Moravian Cup and finished second at the Easykart World Finals at the Franciacorta circuit in Italy.
These achievements opened the door to more competitive international championships and higher junior karting categories.
International Experience and Versatility
Between 2023 and 2025, Matyas focused on gaining the broadest possible range of international racing experience.
He competed in several karting categories, including OK-Junior, OK-N Junior, IAME and EASY 100. His racing programme included Champions of the Future Academy, the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, WSK events and other international competitions across Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
The objective was not simply to achieve results in a single category. An equally important part of his development was learning to adapt quickly to different karts, tyre compounds, chassis setups and circuit characteristics.
By competing in technically different categories, sometimes within a very short period, Matyas developed the adaptability and versatility considered essential for a successful transition into single-seater racing.
His participation in Champions of the Future Academy provided particularly valuable experience against drivers with extensive international karting backgrounds. He achieved strong race results, including individual race wins and a top-ten finish in the overall championship standings.
FIA Karting World Cup 2025 – Cremona, Italy
One of the most significant moments of Matyas's final karting season came at the 2025 FIA Karting World Cup in the OK-N Junior category, held at the Cremona circuit in Italy.
Following a difficult qualifying session, which left him in 72nd position, he faced the challenge of fighting his way through the heats to qualify for the final.
Throughout the event, Matyas demonstrated strong overtaking ability and made significant progress through the field, particularly in wet conditions.
He successfully qualified for the final and finished 18th against an international field of junior drivers, improving by 54 positions compared with his original qualifying ranking.
His performance at Cremona highlighted his racecraft, adaptability to changing conditions and ability to recover from a difficult start to a race weekend.
The experience gained in European and world-level karting provided a valuable foundation for his transition into single-seater motorsport.
A Planned Transition from Karting to Formula 4
At the end of 2025, Matyas and his family racing team made an important strategic decision.
Rather than continuing for another season in senior karting, they chose to dedicate 2026 to preparing for single-seater racing, specifically Formula 4.
This decision formed part of a long-term driver development strategy. Matyas had already completed five seasons in karting, winning national titles, competing internationally and gaining experience with a wide range of racing equipment.
As he would not be eligible to enter an international Formula 4 championship until reaching the age of 15, the 2026 season offered an ideal opportunity for a structured and intensive preparation programme.
Matyas first experienced a Formula 4 car at the age of 13. To support his development, SVC GROUP RACING acquired its own second-generation Tatuus F4 T-421 single-seater.
A comprehensive training programme was established, combining physical conditioning, professional racing simulator sessions, circuit testing and systematic analysis of technical data.
The objective was clear: Matyas should enter his first international Formula 4 season not as a complete newcomer, but as a driver with valuable experience in a real single-seater racing environment.
The 2026 Season – First Formula 4 Victories at the Age of 14
The 2026 season represented the most significant step in Matyas's car racing career to date.
The transition from karting to a Formula 4 single-seater introduced an entirely new set of technical and driving challenges. Matyas had to develop his understanding of aerodynamics, higher speeds, braking performance, tyre management and the different handling characteristics of the car throughout each corner.
Another important aspect was learning to work closely with mechanics and race engineers on car setup, data analysis and performance evaluation during testing and race weekends.
His preparation included private testing, participation in collective F4 CEZ Championship test sessions and competitive race starts in the Carbonia Cup series, which allowed him to race a Formula 4 car at just 14 years of age.
Although SVC GROUP RACING entered the category without previous experience of operating a modern Formula 4 car, Matyas achieved race victories and podium finishes during his debut season.
According to the team's records, he completed a total of 7,126 kilometres of testing and racing during the 2026 season.
His results demonstrated that he had successfully managed the transition from karting, not only in terms of adapting to the car, but also in real racing conditions.
At just 14 years old, Matyas progressed from junior karting to becoming a race winner in the Formula 4 category.
The decision to leave karting a year earlier than originally planned proved to be an important step in his development, providing a strong foundation for the next stage of his international single-seater career.
Driver Development and Personal Approach
Alongside his racing results, systematic and continuous improvement forms an essential part of Matyas's development.
He follows a regular physical training programme, works with a professional racing simulator and collaborates with his technical team on data analysis and vehicle performance evaluation.
His preparation focuses not only on outright lap time, but also on consistency, tyre management, understanding chassis setup and providing clear and constructive technical feedback to his engineers.
Through SVC GROUP RACING's own technical facilities, Matyas has the opportunity to develop a practical understanding of the relationship between driving style, chassis setup and vehicle behaviour during an extensive testing programme.
Alongside his demanding racing schedule, he continues his education and balances his academic responsibilities with his sporting commitments.
His development so far demonstrates his ability to learn new techniques, adapt to different conditions and progressively improve his performance.
The Next Step – The 2027 Season
In November 2026, Matyas will turn 15 and meet the basic minimum age requirement for international Formula 4 championships, subject to the applicable licensing and sporting regulations.
Following five seasons of karting and an intensive Formula 4 development programme, his next objective is to continue competing in single-seater racing at international level.
Matyas continues to receive the support of his family team, SVC GROUP RACING, its technical facilities and its commercial partners.
Alongside the team's own racing programme, opportunities for collaboration with a professional racing team remain open, with the aim of supporting his continued driver development.
Matyas Vladimír Vitver is a young racing driver with extensive international karting experience, race victories in his debut Formula 4 season and strong potential for further development in professional motorsport.

FORMULA F4 – GRAND FINALE MOST 11.10.2026
Publikováno 11.10.2026 • zhlédnuto 271x •
11 October 2026 | Autodrom Most | Carbonia Cup – Grand Finale
Fourteen-year-old Matyas Vladimír Vitver concluded his debut Formula 4 racing season with victory in his class and third place overall in the single-seater race. Starting from 11th on the grid after a difficult qualifying session, the young Czech driver produced one of his finest recovery drives of the season in challenging conditions, with track temperatures around 10°C.
For the family-run SVC GROUP RACING team, the October Grand Finale represented much more than another sporting achievement. It brought the first chapter of Matyas's Formula 4 racing career to a fitting conclusion.
The story had begun almost a year earlier at this very circuit, when Matyas first drove a Formula 4 car at just 13 years of age.
Now he was returning to Most to complete his first racing season as a considerably more experienced driver.
Entering the Final Race Without Championship Pressure
We arrived at the Grand Finale knowing that, according to our championship calculations, Matyas had already secured first place in the overall Formula 4 class standings following the previous race at Brno.
There was therefore no need to develop a special points-management strategy or calculate the finishing position required to protect his championship standing.
Our objective was simply to finish the season strongly, continue developing the car's setup and give Matyas the opportunity to demonstrate everything he had learned during his first year in Formula 4.
The weather promised to provide an additional challenge.
Forecasts indicated rain, low temperatures and changing track conditions.
For many teams, this would hardly have been an ideal scenario. For us, however, it was something we had been looking forward to.
Matyas enjoys driving in wet conditions, and the changing weather offered our technical team another valuable opportunity to learn more about setting up the car for wet and drying circuits.
Saturday Testing: Rain, Cold Weather and Valuable Engineering Work
We made full use of the opportunity to complete a full day of testing on Saturday.
Air temperatures were approximately 10°C, the circuit was wet, and grip levels changed throughout the day.
We concentrated on tyre behaviour, aerodynamic downforce, mechanical suspension settings and the overall balance of the single-seater.
Under these conditions, finding the right compromise is particularly important.
A setup that performs well in heavy rain and standing water may be far less effective when the track begins to dry.
Matyas recorded very competitive lap times throughout the test and, according to our observations, was among the fastest drivers on track.
For the team, however, the information gained was even more important.
We developed a better understanding of how our Tatuus F4 behaves at low temperatures and how significantly changing track conditions influence the car's performance and setup requirements.
After a long and exceptionally cold Saturday, we were looking forward to Sunday's race programme.
Sunday Practice Builds Confidence
The forecast for Sunday suggested conditions similar to the previous day.
From the opening sessions, it became clear that we could put the lessons from Saturday's testing to good use.
Matyas completed both free practice sessions with excellent results.
According to our timing records, he finished second overall in both sessions.
The car was performing well, Matyas felt confident behind the wheel, and the atmosphere within the team was extremely positive.
We believed we had established a strong foundation for qualifying.
Unfortunately, qualifying reminded us just how unpredictable motorsport can be.
Qualifying: A Decision That Did Not Pay Off
Shortly before qualifying, heavy rain began to fall.
The weather radar suggested that the rain would probably be short-lived.
We waited briefly and considered which setup would provide the best compromise.
After observing the intensity of the rain and the preparations being made by other teams, I decided that we should reconfigure our Formula 4 car for conditions involving considerably more water on the circuit.
We selected significantly higher aerodynamic downforce and a setup that had worked extremely well during Saturday's testing in very wet conditions.
However, shortly after Matyas left the pits, the rain stopped.
Track conditions began to change, and our setup was no longer suited to the developing situation.
Other competitors, who had made less extensive changes and primarily switched to wet-weather tyres, had chosen a more effective compromise for the conditions.
I considered calling Matyas back into the pits immediately.
However, I was concerned that qualifying might be interrupted by another red flag, potentially leaving us without enough time to complete a sufficient number of timed laps.
I decided to keep him on track.
Looking back, I have to admit that it was the wrong decision.
The situation was further complicated by a problem with the front-right brake pad, which also affected the car's performance.
The result was our worst qualifying performance of the entire 2026 season – 11th place on the starting grid.
It was a difficult lesson for the technical team.
In motorsport, tenths of a second often make the difference. On this occasion, we lost considerably more through a combination of an incorrect assessment of the weather, an unsuitable setup and a technical complication.
As team principal, I accepted responsibility for the setup decision, and I was extremely frustrated with myself.
Starting 11th – A Difficult Task Ahead
Starting from 11th meant that Matyas would have to overtake several competitors during the race, including his direct rivals in the Formula 4 class.
After our experience at an earlier Most race, where contact in a tightly packed field had damaged the car, this was not a particularly comfortable prospect.
However, by this stage of the season, we no longer needed to explain to Matyas the importance of anticipating situations, overtaking safely and assessing risks correctly.
These were all skills he had been developing throughout the year.
And this race would give him the opportunity to demonstrate just how much progress he had made.
A Recovery Drive That Revealed Another Level of Performance
From the start, Matyas delivered a focused and determined drive.
He gradually gained positions, taking advantage of overtaking opportunities without unnecessary delays.
When we subsequently reviewed the onboard footage, we realised just how significantly his driving had developed over the course of the season.
He was more precise under braking, better at anticipating the behaviour of other drivers and more effective at preparing overtaking manoeuvres.
We also noticed considerable progress in his ability to adapt his racing line to changing conditions and traffic.
Analysis of his telemetry and individual sector times suggested the potential for lap times of approximately 1:34.5 to 1:34.8.
These were theoretical estimates based on combining individual sector performances, rather than lap times actually completed during the race.
Traffic and repeated overtaking battles prevented Matyas from putting all his best sectors together on a completely clear lap.
Nevertheless, he achieved his fastest lap at Most up to that point.
A lap time of 1:35.22, with the track temperature at approximately 10°C, was an extremely encouraging result for our team.
Yet the lap time itself was not the most important achievement.
What impressed us even more was the way Matyas maintained his pace while negotiating traffic and competing directly against other drivers.
The Decisive Battle for the Formula 4 Lead
One of the most exciting moments of the race came during Matyas's battle with the driver who had been leading the Formula 4 class.
Initially, Matyas followed his rival closely, spending approximately one and a half laps studying his racing line, braking points and defensive driving.
He then prepared an overtaking manoeuvre, using a change of line to gain an advantage and move ahead.
The battle continued through the following section of the circuit.
During the exchange, Matyas found himself running onto the wet grass beyond the asphalt, an especially dangerous situation in the prevailing conditions.
However, he managed to keep the car under control and continue racing.
The manoeuvre put Matyas into the lead of the Formula 4 class.
For our team, this was one of the most memorable moments of the weekend.
It demonstrated that Matyas was no longer relying solely on the speed of his car. He was learning to analyse his rivals, prepare an overtaking opportunity and respond effectively during close wheel-to-wheel racing.
Battling Formula 3 Cars All the Way to the Finish
After taking the lead in Formula 4, Matyas began closing the gap to the Formula 3 cars ahead.
The closing stages of the race therefore produced further exciting battles between different single-seater categories.
Matyas managed to reduce the gap to Mr Morávek's car, with both drivers fighting for positions in the overall classification.
Slower traffic and the different performance characteristics of the cars complicated matters for both competitors.
Nevertheless, they continued fighting until the final metres of the race.
Matyas eventually crossed the finish line third overall, behind two Formula 3 cars, and as the winner of the Formula 4 class.
According to our team's assessment, he was also the fastest driver among the F4-category cars, including modified single-seaters.
After such a difficult qualifying session, it was a result that gave the entire team enormous satisfaction.
Most: Where It All Began at 13 – and Where His First Formula 4 Season Ended at 14
There is something particularly special about the way this season ended.
On 10 November 2025, just one day before his 14th birthday, Matyas drove a Formula 4 single-seater for the very first time at Autodrom Most.
He was only 13 years old.
Driving a borrowed Formula 4 car in wet conditions, he completed his first 20 laps and discovered an entirely new world of motorsport.
At that moment, he had no Formula 4 racing experience. Everything was new – the clutch, the braking, the handling characteristics and the feeling of driving a single-seater.
Five months later, on 12 April 2026, Matyas returned to the same circuit for his first competitive Formula 4 race, this time driving his own Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2 prepared by SVC GROUP RACING.
He won the Formula 4 class on his racing debut and finished second overall.
Over the following months, he completed an extensive programme of testing and racing, learning about tyres, suspension, aerodynamics, technical data and wheel-to-wheel competition.
Then, on 11 October 2026, he returned to Most for the final race of his first Formula 4 season.
Starting from 11th on the grid, he fought his way through the field to finish third overall and claim another Formula 4 class victory.
The same circuit. From his first 20 laps at 13 to a winning Formula 4 season finale at 14.
For us, that is the real story of 2026.
Not simply the victories, but the extraordinary progress Matyas made during his first year behind the wheel of a Formula 4 car.
A Successful First Formula 4 Season for a Family-Run Team
The 2026 season represented a completely new challenge for SVC GROUP RACING.
Although we have approximately twenty years of motorsport experience, the modern Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2 is technically very different from the racing cars we have developed and operated in the past.
We had to learn new procedures, adapt our technical equipment and understand the specific requirements of tyres, suspension, aerodynamics and Formula 4 race operations.
Not everything worked perfectly from the beginning.
Sometimes we chose the wrong setup direction. On other occasions, we were caught out by changing weather conditions or technical complications.
What mattered most was our willingness to learn from every situation.
One of the major achievements of our first season was the reliability of the car.
According to our team records, Matyas completed all seven race starts without a retirement caused by a technical failure.
Across the complete testing and racing programme, we also covered more than 7,000 kilometres with our Formula 4 car during the 2026 season.
For a privately operated single-seater run by a family team in its first year in the category, these figures represent a considerable technical and organisational achievement.
Of course, we experienced difficult moments when rapid mechanical work and the availability of spare parts made all the difference.
Our own technical facilities and experience from previous racing projects proved particularly valuable.
I would therefore like to thank every member of SVC GROUP RACING who contributed to preparing, operating and developing the car throughout the season.
Our sincere thanks also go to our principal partner, SVC GROUP s.r.o., and all the other partners supporting Matyas's racing programme.
Matyas's Greatest Achievement? More Than Just Race Results
As both his father and team principal, I am naturally proud of the victories and lap times.
However, I am even more pleased with Matyas's overall attitude.
Throughout the season, he worked regularly on the racing simulator, followed a structured physical training programme, including strength and athletics training, and continued managing his school commitments.
He gradually became better at describing the car's handling characteristics, interpreting technical information and understanding racing from a broader perspective.
At the beginning of the season, our primary objective was to manage his transition from karting to Formula 4 safely.
By the end of the year, he was actively contributing to setup development, adapting to changing track conditions and making considered tactical decisions during demanding races.
I often remind Matyas of one important principle:
“The fastest driver does not always win the championship. Very often, success belongs to the driver who makes the smartest decisions.”
We consider his growing ability to combine speed, judgement and technical understanding one of the most valuable achievements of his first Formula 4 season.
The 2026 Season Is Complete. Preparations for 2027 Continue.
The Grand Finale at Most brought the racing part of our first Formula 4 programme to a close.
According to our team records, Matyas achieved four victories, two second-place finishes and one fourth-place finish in the Formula 4 class across seven Carbonia Cup races.
Alongside these results, he completed an extensive testing programme, gaining valuable experience with different circuits, car setups and racing conditions.
We intend to publish a separate report covering the total testing mileage, technical development and the lessons learned throughout the season.
Our attention is now turning towards 2027 and identifying the most suitable opportunities for Matyas's continued development in international Formula 4.
At the same time, we are preparing alternative racing and development options to ensure that his progress can continue regardless of which programme we ultimately select.
The 2026 season has shown us that, together, we have established a strong foundation.
But we also know that there is still a great deal of work ahead.
It all began at Most when Matyas was just 13 years old, driving his first 20 laps in a borrowed Formula 4 car. At 14, he returned to the same circuit to conclude his debut racing season with another victory. Between those two moments lies a year of hard work, determination and remarkable progress.
The first chapter is complete. The journey continues.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.

Rodinný tým SVC Racing má dlouholeté zkušenosti s vývojem, stavbou a přípravou závodních automobilů i s jejich nasazením v mezinárodních soutěžích.
Od prvních tréninků, často i v náročných zimních podmínkách, postupně získával zkušenosti s ovládáním závodní techniky, hledáním správné závodní stopy a souboji s ostatními jezdci.
Následoval vstup do českých kartingových soutěží a postupný přechod do mezinárodního prostředí, především v Itálii.
Tyto výsledky otevřely cestu k náročnějším mezinárodním závodům a dalším juniorským kategoriím.
Mezinárodní zkušenosti a všestrannost
Startoval v různých kartingových kategoriích, včetně OK-Junior, OK-N Junior, IAME a EASY 100. Zúčastnil se podniků Champions of the Future Academy, FIA Karting Academy Trophy, závodů WSK a dalších soutěží v Evropě i ve Spojených arabských emirátech.
V této konkurenci dosahoval předních umístění, vítězství v jednotlivých jízdách a umístění v první desítce celkového hodnocení.
FIA Karting World Cup 2025 – Cremona, Itálie
V náročných podmínkách dokázal výrazně zlepšovat své umístění, a především na mokré trati předvedl úspěšné předjížděcí manévry a postupy startovním polem.
Plánovaný přechod z kartingu do Formula 4
Současně vznikl komplexní tréninkový program zahrnující fyzickou přípravu, profesionální závodní simulátor, testování na automobilových okruzích a systematickou práci s technickými daty.
Přechod z motokár do formulového monopostu přinesl zcela nové technické i jezdecké nároky. Matyas se musel naučit pracovat s aerodynamikou, výrazně vyššími rychlostmi, brzdným systémem, pneumatikami a rozdílným chováním vozu v jednotlivých fázích zatáček.
Přestože tým SVC GROUP RACING vstupoval do této kategorie bez předchozích zkušeností s provozem moderní formule F4, dokázal Matyas během první sezony dosahovat vítězství a pódiových umístění.
Jezdecký rozvoj a osobní přístup
Díky vlastnímu technickému zázemí SVC GROUP RACING má možnost poznávat souvislosti mezi jezdeckým stylem, nastavením podvozku a výsledným chováním vozu přímo v průběhu testovacího programu.

Racing Heritage, Engineering Excellence and the Next Generation of Motorsport
A Czech family-run racing team with a motorsport history dating back to 2006, European racing achievements and its own technical and engineering facilities.
Who We Are
SVC GROUP RACING is a Czech family-run motorsport team based in Náchod, Czech Republic. It continues the racing activities of SVC GROUP and Vladimír Vitver's team, which has competed in national and international motorsport events since 2006.
Throughout its history, the team has operated under several names, including SVC Náchod Motorsport, SVC Vitver Racing and SVC Racing. These names reflect different stages of its development, technical projects and racing programmes.
The common foundation has always been the combination of competitive motorsport with in-house engineering, racing car development and the industrial expertise of the family-owned SVC GROUP.
Today, the team focuses primarily on young driver development, the preparation of single-seater racing cars and the continuation of its family motorsport tradition.
Technical and Industrial Background – SVC GROUP
The racing team's technical foundation is supported by SVC GROUP s.r.o., a Czech manufacturer of automotive components with a manufacturing heritage spanning almost four decades.
The company specialises in research, development, engineering and manufacturing of towing systems, automotive accessories and related technical solutions.
Its product portfolio includes more than 1,900 types of products and components. SVC GROUP operates its own design and development facilities, manufacturing technologies and quality control processes.
The company also applies its engineering expertise to motorsport, having contributed to the preparation, modification and development of racing cars.
An important part of this history is the work carried out on Audi TT-R DTM racing cars originating from the German ABT Sportsline racing programme. These cars subsequently became the foundation of SVC Vitver Racing's successful European hill climb project.
The combination of industrial engineering and practical motorsport experience remains one of the team's defining strengths.
Racing Team History – Since 2006
The modern history of SVC Racing began in 2006, when Vladimír Vitver started competing regularly in motorsport events.
Over the following seasons, the team progressively expanded its activities from national hill climb competitions to international events, circuit racing and FIA European Championship competition.
Its racing machinery evolved from modified touring and sports cars to dedicated Lotus racing specials and highly developed Audi TT-R DTM race cars.
In-house engineering, structural modifications, aerodynamic development and powertrain optimisation played an important role in the team's ability to achieve competitive results against established European competitors.
Success in the FIA European Hill Climb Championship
One of the most successful chapters in the team's history was its participation in the FIA European Hill Climb Championship.
Driving SVC Racing machinery, Vladimír Vitver achieved numerous international results, particularly in the E2-SH class.
Key achievements include:
-
Five first-place finishes in the final European E2-SH class standings – 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
-
Three third-place finishes in the overall European Category 2 standings – 2013, 2016 and 2018.
-
Further podium finishes in European, Czech national and international competitions.
-
Recognition with the prestigious Czech Golden Steering Wheel award.
-
Success in team classifications and circuit racing events.
These results represent an important part of SVC Racing's heritage and demonstrate the team's ability to develop and prepare competitive racing machinery for European motorsport competition.
Audi TT-R DTM – An Exceptional Engineering Project
One of the team's most recognisable racing cars was the Audi TT-R DTM, originally developed for the German ABT Sportsline racing programme.
After acquiring the car, SVC Racing undertook an extensive engineering and development programme to adapt it to the specific demands of European hill climb competition.
Under the direction of Vladimír Vitver, the project evolved into a highly modified racing car featuring a V8 engine, extensive aerodynamic modifications and individually developed engineering components.
The car underwent several stages of development and, under the names MATY and later MATY II, became one of the team's most distinctive motorsport projects.
Today, the Audi TT-R DTM represents a significant part of SVC Racing's technical and competitive heritage, reflecting an era of successful participation in European Championship events.
A New Chapter – Developing Young Racing Drivers
Following many years of competition in European hill climb racing, the team began developing a new area of activity: supporting and preparing young racing drivers.
From 2020 onwards, SVC Racing established a karting programme focused on fundamental driving skills, technical understanding and structured long-term driver development.
A central part of this programme was Matyas Vladimír Vitver, who progressed through Czech and international karting competitions, winning championship titles and gaining experience in European and world-level karting.
Throughout his development, the team has drawn upon its own engineering and organisational resources, together with experience gained from previous motorsport projects.
Formula 4 – The Next Generation of SVC Racing
In 2025, the team entered a new phase of its history by beginning its transition into single-seater racing.
SVC GROUP RACING acquired a Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2 for Matyas Vitver and established a structured development programme combining physical training, racing simulator sessions, technical preparation and circuit testing.
The 2026 season focused on gaining real racing experience ahead of a planned entry into international Formula 4 championships.
At just 14 years old, Matyas achieved several victories in the Formula 4 category of the Carbonia Cup series and, according to team records, completed more than 7,100 kilometres of testing and racing during the season.
Through this programme, SVC GROUP RACING has built upon its established motorsport heritage while developing a new focus on single-seater racing and the long-term progression of young drivers.
Technical and Racing Facilities
SVC GROUP RACING operates its own racing car preparation facilities, mechanical equipment, chassis geometry measurement and setup systems, and transport infrastructure for racing and testing activities.
The team's technical programme includes racing data analysis, vehicle dynamics evaluation, chassis setup development and direct technical collaboration with its drivers.
A dedicated racing simulator supports driver preparation, while structured circuit testing programmes provide practical opportunities for performance development.
SVC Racing's philosophy is based on a long-term approach to both engineering and driver development, rather than focusing solely on individual race events.
The Future – Continuing a Family Racing Tradition
For the Vitver family, motorsport has always represented more than simply competing in races. It combines engineering, innovation, sporting ambition and long-term teamwork.
The current Formula 4 programme represents the next generation of this family racing tradition.
After years of representing the Czech Republic in European hill climb competition, the team's next chapter focuses on supporting Matyas Vitver and creating the conditions for his continued development as a racing driver.
SVC GROUP RACING aims to preserve its engineering knowledge and racing experience while applying them to the development of a new generation of drivers.
SVC GROUP RACING – Built on Experience. Driven by the Next Generation.

Tradice, technika, vítězství a nová generace motorsportu
Český rodinný závodní tým s historií sahající do roku 2006, evropskými úspěchy a vlastním technickým zázemím.
Kdo jsme
Společným základem však vždy zůstávalo propojení automobilového motorsportu s vlastní technickou přípravou, vývojem závodních vozů a zázemím rodinné společnosti SVC GROUP.
Dnes se tým soustředí především na rozvoj mladých jezdců, přípravu závodních monopostů a pokračování rodinné motorsportové tradice.
Technické a průmyslové zázemí SVC GROUP
Zázemí závodního týmu tvoří společnost SVC GROUP s.r.o., český výrobce automobilových komponentů se čtyřicetiletou výrobní tradicí.
Společnost se specializuje na výzkum, vývoj, konstrukci a výrobu tažných zařízení, automobilového příslušenství a souvisejících technických řešení.
Její výrobní program zahrnuje více než 1 900 typů výrobků a komponentů.
Počátky novodobé závodní historie SVC Racing sahají do roku 2006, kdy Vladimír Vitver zahájil pravidelnou účast v automobilových závodech.
Během následujících sezon tým postupně rozšiřoval své aktivity od domácích závodů do vrchu k mezinárodním soutěžím, okruhovým závodům a evropskému šampionátu FIA.
Závodní technika se postupně vyvíjela od upravených cestovních a sportovních automobilů přes závodní speciály Lotus až po mimořádně výkonné Audi TT-R DTM.
Právě vlastní technický vývoj, úpravy konstrukce, aerodynamiky a pohonných systémů umožnily týmu postupně dosahovat výsledků také proti zavedeným evropským soupeřům.
Úspěchy v FIA European Hill Climb Championship
Jedním z nejúspěšnějších období týmu se stala účast v mistrovství Evropy v závodech do vrchu.
Vladimír Vitver se závodními speciály SVC Racing dosáhl řady mezinárodních výsledků, zejména v kategorii E2-SH.
Mezi hlavní sportovní úspěchy patří:
- 5× první místo v konečném hodnocení evropské třídy E2-SH – sezony 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 a 2018.
- 3× třetí místo v celkovém hodnocení evropské kategorie 2 – sezony 2013, 2016 a 2018.
- Další pódiová umístění v evropských, českých a mezinárodních soutěžích.
Pod vedením Vladimíra Vitvera vznikl vysoce upravený závodní automobil s osmiválcovým motorem, rozsáhlými aerodynamickými úpravami a individuálně vyvíjenými konstrukčními prvky.
Vůz prošel několika vývojovými etapami a pod označením MATY, později MATY II, se stal jedním z nejvýraznějších závodních projektů týmu.
Audi TT-R DTM dnes představuje důležitou součást technické a závodní historie SVC Racing a připomíná období úspěšného působení v evropském šampionátu.
Technické a závodní zázemí

Racing weekend in Brno: second place and the Carbonia Cup title secured 18.09.2026
Publikováno 18.09.2026 • zhlédnuto 439x •
FORMULA 4 – BRNO 2026
Four Days of Car Development, Second Place and a Crucial Championship Decision
The penultimate Carbonia Cup race weekend took us to the Masaryk Circuit in Brno, where I was competing in my first Formula 4 race at this venue.
As I had not previously raced at Brno in our Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2, we visited the circuit for testing one week before the event. Our objective was to learn the track, prepare the car setup and gather as much information as possible ahead of the race weekend.
A Difficult Test and Four Days in the Workshop
Our initial test did not go according to plan.
The car was not behaving as expected, and I was struggling to extract its potential. Meanwhile, our mechanics were working to identify the problems and find ways to improve the setup.
Since the beginning of the season, we had also been dealing with tyre tread separation on the left-hand side of the car, an issue that required a thorough investigation.
After returning to Náchod, our technical team spent four intensive days working on the Formula 4 car. They inspected the chassis, suspension geometry and other parameters before making substantial setup changes.
We therefore returned to Brno for the race weekend with a car that had a significantly different setup from the previous test.
Naturally, there was some uncertainty. If the practice sessions were shortened, we might not have enough time to evaluate the changes and make any further adjustments before qualifying.
We also prepared a more conservative strategy, aimed at minimising the risk of losing valuable championship points.
A Much-Improved Car and a Strong Qualifying Performance
The very first practice session confirmed that our mechanics' hard work had paid off.
The car felt considerably better than during the previous test, giving me much more confidence under braking and through the corners.
We therefore decided not to make any further major setup changes before qualifying. My priority was to become familiar with the car's new handling characteristics and adapt my driving accordingly.
Qualifying went very well. I secured second place in the Formula 4 class, with only a small time gap to my fastest rival.
For our family-run team, competing in its first season with a modern Formula 4 single-seater, this was an important confirmation that our technical development was moving in the right direction.
Racing Among More Than Thirty Single-Seaters
More than thirty single-seater cars from different categories lined up for the race.
I made a clean start and negotiated the first corner without problems. However, my closest F4 rival managed to overtake a slower Formula 3 car ahead of us earlier than I did, allowing him to build a lead of approximately one second.
Throughout the following laps, the gap between us remained relatively stable.
Of course, I wanted to win. But I quickly realised that catching another driver and finding a safe opportunity to overtake are two very different challenges.
With approximately three laps remaining, I noticed that my rival's car appeared to be developing a problem. I had an opportunity to increase the pressure and attempt an attack.
At the same time, I knew that a mistake or contact could cost us valuable championship points.
According to our provisional championship calculations, second place was sufficient to secure the overall Formula 4 class lead in the season standings.
At that moment, I remembered something my father often tells me:
“The fastest driver does not always win the championship. Sometimes, it is the driver who makes the smartest decisions.”
I decided not to take unnecessary risks, maintained my position and focused on bringing the car home.
I crossed the finish line in second place in the Formula 4 class.
It was one of the most important decisions of my racing career so far. It was not simply about speed, but also about understanding the situation and taking responsibility for the entire team.
Brno Is Not Yet One of My Favourite Circuits
My father and I have slightly different opinions about the Masaryk Circuit.
He has always enjoyed racing at Brno and looks forward to returning. I cannot yet say that it is one of my favourite circuits.
However, after watching my Formula 4 onboard footage together, he admitted that he could understand my point of view.
A circuit looks and feels very different from the cockpit of a single-seater just a few centimetres above the asphalt compared with driving a fully-bodied racing car.
Every circuit has its own character, and Brno remains a track where I still have plenty to learn.
A Huge Thank You to SVC GROUP RACING
I would like to thank all our mechanics, especially my father, Vladimír Vitver, and Miroslav Michl.
Following a difficult test, they managed to transform the handling of our car in just four days and prepare a competitive Formula 4 single-seater for the race weekend.
Although we have only been gaining experience in Formula 4 since the beginning of this season, the team has made significant progress in technical preparation, chassis setup and overall race car operations.
I truly appreciate the time and effort everyone puts into the programme.
I am also very pleased with how my first season has developed following my transition directly from junior karting to Formula 4.
Our extensive testing programme has given me valuable experience, not only in driving the car but also in working closely with the technical team.
Another important achievement is that we have not suffered a single race retirement due to a technical failure throughout the season.
For our family-run team, this is an important demonstration of preparation, reliability and commitment.
Grand Finale Most – Returning to Where It All Began
I am heading into the final Carbonia Cup race weekend at Most knowing that we have achieved our main sporting objectives during our first Formula 4 season.
Most is a special circuit for me.
It was here that I began my first proper Formula 4 programme in 2026.
Now I am returning with much more experience, several victories in the F4 class and great confidence in our team.
I want to enjoy the final race, deliver the best performance I can and finish my first Formula 4 season at the circuit where this journey began.

The Return of the Legendary Audi TT-R and Two Generations of SVC Racing
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, Motorsport Day brought the atmosphere of motor racing, remarkable machinery and enthusiasts of all generations to the centre of Náchod, Czech Republic.
The event was organised by the Autoklub of the Czech Republic with the support of the City of Náchod. Among the racing vehicles on display were cars from the local SVC GROUP RACING team, continuing the long-standing motorsport heritage of SVC Vitver Racing.
For the team, participating in the event meant a change to its original schedule. Instead of attending a planned circuit test, SVC Racing decided to present its racing machinery to local motorsport fans.
The event also held special significance for 14-year-old racing driver Matyas Vitver. He was able to show his schoolmates the Tatuus Formula 4 single-seater he has been racing throughout the 2026 season and introduce them to the motorsport environment that occupies so much of his time.
During race weekends, his classmates often help by sharing school notes, allowing Matyas to balance his education with a demanding testing and racing programme.
Back in the Public Eye After Six Years
One of the main attractions of the exhibition was the legendary Audi TT-R WTTR, an extraordinary racing car based on DTM machinery and one of the most significant engineering projects in SVC Racing's history.
The car, which accompanied the team through successful years of European motorsport competition, had been carefully preserved and stored away from racing activities for approximately six years.
Team owner, racing driver and engineer Vladimír Vitver had decided to keep the car within the family, despite receiving several offers to purchase it.
The original plan was straightforward: retrieve the car from storage, clean it, carry out a technical inspection and prepare it for display at Náchod Motorsport Day.
However, new components gradually began arriving at the workshop. Fuel hoses, batteries, inspected electronic systems and other parts required to bring the car back to life suggested that its return might involve more than simply becoming a static exhibit.
Eight Years of Shared Racing Memories
The reunion between the Audi and the mechanics who had spent approximately eight years working with it at European racing events became one of the most emotional moments of the occasion.
For the team members, the Audi represented far more than a racing car.
It brought back memories of years of engineering development, long journeys across Europe, demanding race weekends and the achievements they had shared together.
After the exhibition, the team spent the evening recalling stories from past races, technical challenges and moments when tenths of a second made all the difference.
While the older generation looked back on those experiences, Matyas repeatedly returned to the Audi.
He climbed into the cockpit, explored the driving position and asked questions about the seat design, visibility and handling characteristics of a car fundamentally different from his current Formula 4 single-seater.
It was during these moments that the idea began to emerge: perhaps the Audi did not need to return to storage after all.
Instead, discussions turned towards manufacturing a new racing seat for Matyas and adapting the team's transport facilities to accommodate both the Audi and the Tatuus F4.
Preparing the Audi TT-R WTTR for Its Return
The Audi attracted considerable interest from visitors, including enquiries from abroad.
One question was asked repeatedly:
Will this extraordinary racing car ever return to the circuit?
The team's answer is yes.
The Audi TT-R WTTR is now scheduled to undergo a comprehensive technical inspection and a gradual programme of preparation for its return to running condition.
The work will include inspecting and, where necessary, replacing safety harnesses, the fuel tank, fuel system, clutch and other mechanical, electrical and safety-related components.
All modifications and inspections will be carried out with due consideration for safety and the requirements of the car's intended use.
The objective is not to rush the return of this historic racing machine, but to prepare it carefully for safe testing on the circuit.
The Next Generation Behind the Wheel
The project also includes plans for Matyas Vitver to experience driving the Audi TT-R WTTR for the first time.
Although he has already gained experience in international karting and completed his first racing season in Formula 4, the Audi represents an entirely different category of racing machinery.
Its exceptional performance, specialised engineering and demanding handling characteristics require considerable respect and careful preparation.
Any initial driving sessions will therefore take place exclusively during private testing at closed racing circuits, following a gradual programme under the supervision of an experienced technical team.
Suitable circuits in Germany are also being considered.
For Vladimír Vitver, the Audi's return carries a particularly personal meaning.
Due to health-related circumstances, he is no longer able to fulfil his original dream of sharing a racing experience with Matyas in quite the way he once imagined.
Passing on his experience and allowing the next generation to discover the car therefore represents an important continuation of the family's motorsport heritage.
Generations Change. The Racing Legacy Continues.
The Audi TT-R WTTR represents an important chapter in SVC Racing's history of European motorsport achievements.
The Tatuus Formula 4 represents the present and future of the Vitver family's racing programme.
Two very different racing cars, two generations of drivers, but the same foundations: engineering, experience, teamwork and a shared passion for motorsport.
The Audi TT-R WTTR is returning – not simply as a reminder of the past, but as part of a new chapter in the history of SVC Racing.

PANNONIA-RING 2026
First Formula 4 Test, Extreme Conditions and a Time Attack Victory for Matyas Vitver
A simulator teaches you the racing line. A real circuit teaches you how to adapt to reality.
SVC GROUP RACING completed its first test at Hungary's Pannonia-Ring with the Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2 single-seater. The test took place during a Track Day organised by Michael Fiala Motor-Sports, shortly before the upcoming Carbonia Cup race weekend.
For 14-year-old Matyas Vitver, it was another important step in his first season of Formula 4 racing.
Extreme Temperatures and First Impressions of the Circuit
The test was held in exceptionally demanding weather conditions. According to the team's measurements, air temperatures reached up to 44°C in the shade, placing considerable strain on the driver, tyres and racing machinery.
Before arriving at Pannonia-Ring, Matyas had completed extensive preparation on a professional racing simulator. Meanwhile, the SVC Racing technical team had developed a baseline car setup using the available circuit information.
However, the initial track walk revealed significant differences from what had been expected. The actual condition of the asphalt, the characteristics of the kerbs and several technical details of the circuit required adjustments to the original setup.
The mechanics therefore carried out substantial changes to the chassis geometry and suspension settings to adapt the car to the real track conditions.
Significant Progress in Driver Performance
For Matyas, his first experience of Pannonia-Ring was an important part of his preparation for the upcoming races.
Throughout the sessions, he progressively improved his knowledge of the circuit, braking points, cornering technique and overall pace.
With each session, he managed to reduce his lap times significantly, initially improving by several seconds rather than just tenths.
Another important step forward was his communication with the technical team. Matyas demonstrated an increasing ability to describe the car's handling characteristics accurately and provide the mechanics with useful feedback for further setup adjustments.
Developing the ability to connect driving sensations with technical data is one of the key objectives of his Formula 4 development programme.
Technical Issue Resolved at the Circuit
Towards the end of the testing programme, an engine-related issue emerged which had previously appeared in a similar form during earlier tests.
The engine began losing power and showing unusual operating characteristics. The team therefore had to interrupt testing and carry out a detailed technical inspection.
After approximately three hours of intensive work, the mechanics successfully identified and resolved a previously undetected fault associated with the car's earlier operation.
Thanks to SVC Racing's own technical equipment and extensive stock of spare parts, the repair was completed directly in the Pannonia-Ring paddock without the need to replace the engine.
The car was subsequently restored to full working order and was ready to continue the 2026 racing programme.
The situation also demonstrated the importance of having dedicated technical facilities and a team capable of resolving complex mechanical problems directly at the circuit.
First Place in the Time Attack
A positive conclusion to the testing programme came when Matyas secured first place in the Time Attack classification, organised by Michael Fiala Motor-Sports for participants in its Track Day events.
For the 14-year-old driver, this was another encouraging indication of his progress in the transition from karting to Formula 4.
Although the primary objective of the test was driver development and car preparation for the upcoming races, first place provided a rewarding conclusion to a demanding testing programme.
Teamwork as the Foundation of Success
The Pannonia-Ring test once again demonstrated that every racing driver's performance is supported by the work of an entire team.
The following team members made important contributions to the preparation and operation of the car:
-
Petr Jirák – Technical preparation and tyre management.
-
Ladislav Brázdil (LSC) – Data channel configuration and monitoring, technical communication and data analysis.
-
Miroslav Michl – Mechanical preparation and maintenance of the Formula 4 car.
Special thanks also go to Jan Rieger for his expert assistance, willingness to help and valuable experience, which continue to support the development of SVC Racing's Formula 4 programme.
The Next Step – Carbonia Cup Race Weekend
Following the completion of the testing programme, SVC GROUP RACING is preparing to return to Pannonia-Ring for the upcoming Carbonia Cup race weekend.
The objective is to build on the experience gained during testing, continue improving Matyas Vitver's race pace and carry forward the progress achieved throughout the programme.
For SVC GROUP RACING, the main priority of the 2026 season remains the systematic preparation of 14-year-old Matyas Vitver for international Formula 4 competition in 2027.

FORMULA 4 – MOST 2026
A Challenging Race, a Damaged Car and a Valuable Motorsport Lesson
Autodrom Most is one of our favourite racing circuits. This time, however, it reminded us of an important lesson: you cannot win a race in the first corner, but you can certainly lose everything there.
Another Carbonia Cup race weekend at Autodrom Most provided 14-year-old Matyas Vitver and SVC GROUP RACING with one of the most demanding experiences of their first Formula 4 season.
We arrived at Most with our Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2 carefully prepared. The car had new brakes, a replacement clutch and revised suspension settings. Matyas had also prepared thoroughly, both physically and on the racing simulator.
We were especially pleased to have Matyas's grandfather, Milan, supporting us in the paddock again.
Everyone was looking forward to a strong weekend. But motorsport once again demonstrated that even the best preparation cannot guarantee a trouble-free event.
Almost No Useful Running in Practice
The first free practice session was interrupted by red flags. Matyas managed only three laps, including his out-lap.
During the second session, a slow puncture forced us to stop after four laps, again including the out-lap.
As a result, the entire practice programme provided very little useful information. We were unable to bring the tyres and other operating components fully up to temperature or properly evaluate the car's setup at racing speed.
Qualifying Accident and a Race Against Time for the Mechanics
Qualifying began with three warm-up laps. Unfortunately, a mistake while negotiating a kerb caused Matyas to lose control and hit the barriers.
The impact damaged the suspension, steering and front wing.
For the SVC GROUP RACING mechanics, another race immediately began – this time against the clock.
The extent of the damage required substantial repairs in the paddock, away from our usual workshop facilities.
The team had to replace damaged components, inspect the steering and chassis and prepare the car for the race within a very limited period.
Our mechanics successfully completed the challenge.
During the formation lap, Matyas thanked the entire team over the radio. He confirmed that the repaired car felt excellent and that he was ready to race.
For us, it was one of the most rewarding moments of the weekend.
A Difficult Start and Contact with Other Cars
Before the race, we reminded Matyas how important discipline and awareness are at the start and through the opening corners.
In a large field of single-seaters from different performance categories, a driver must not only react quickly but also anticipate the behaviour of others, maintain a predictable racing line and avoid unnecessary risks.
Shortly after the start, Matyas became involved in close racing with surrounding cars, and several contacts occurred.
During one incident, the front wheel of his car was struck. A further contact damaged the front wing. During the post-race inspection, we also discovered damage to Matyas's helmet.
It was an unpleasant situation that required careful checks of both the car and the driver's safety equipment.
According to the information available to our team, the stewards did not issue any penalties for these contacts.
For the purposes of this report, we therefore regard them as racing incidents from which valuable lessons can be learned.
Fighting Back Before an Early Red Flag
Despite the difficult start and damage to the car, Matyas was able to continue racing and gradually recover positions.
He fought his way back to third place on the road in the relevant classification.
However, the race was subsequently stopped by a red flag and was not restarted.
Under the classification procedure applied to the event, the final result was determined using the order from the preceding counted lap.
Matyas was therefore officially classified fourth in the Formula 4 class.
It was our team's first finish outside the podium positions during the season.
Nevertheless, we did not leave Most feeling defeated.
Repairing the car, dealing with difficult situations on track and successfully completing the race were all important parts of our first year in Formula 4.
According to our team's provisional standings at the time, Matyas remained the F4 class leader after the event.
Respect Between Rivals
One of the nicest moments came after the race.
The driver with whom Matyas had been fighting for third and fourth place approached him.
They shook hands and, with smiles on their faces, discussed the different situations they had experienced on track.
Both agreed that their battle had been fair and enjoyable.
These are the moments that remind us what motorsport is really about.
Drivers may be rivals on the circuit, but mutual respect and appreciation should remain once the race is over.
Lessons That Go Beyond the Racetrack
I have been involved in motorsport for more than twenty years, and it can still surprise me.
This weekend at Most reminded us that racing is not simply about speed and victories.
It is about preparation, dealing with unexpected problems, teamwork and responsibility.
During a single weekend, Matyas had to cope with limited practice, his own qualifying mistake, the subsequent repairs and challenging situations during the race.
These are experiences that cannot be fully replicated on a simulator or during ordinary testing.
They help shape not only a racing driver, but also the person behind the steering wheel.
Looking Ahead – SVC Racing's Future Plans
Following the race at Most, we also began considering the possibility of expanding our racing activities.
One option under discussion involved additional Formula 3 cars, with potential opportunities being explored through contacts in Italy.
The idea was to combine Matyas's Formula 4 programme with further racing experience and continue the family's motorsport tradition.
At that stage, however, these were preliminary plans rather than a confirmed racing programme.
The Most Important Thing We Took Home
We did not bring a trophy home from Most this time.
But we brought back something that may prove even more valuable for Matyas's future: experience, a deeper respect for racing and the knowledge that our team can respond to difficult situations.
Victories matter. But a racing driver's true character is also revealed by how they respond when things do not go according to plan.
And if Matyas carries these lessons into everyday life, then this demanding weekend at Most will have served an important purpose.

Vážení závodníci, kamarádi podporovatelé a manažeři, ohledně mé osoby a Formule F4.

First F4 CEZ Collective Test: 336 Kilometres, Extreme Heat and an Important Step Forward for Matyas Vitver
4 June 2026 | Slovakia Ring | F4 CEZ Collective Test
“My father told me I would be sharing the track with the big boys this time. He was right.”
Fourteen-year-old Matyas Vladimír Vitver completed his first collective test alongside drivers from the F4 CEZ Championship at the Slovakia Ring.
For the young Czech driver and his family-run SVC GROUP RACING team, it was an opportunity to gain experience in a more competitive Formula 4 testing environment and measure his progress alongside drivers already competing regularly in the category.
However, the one-day programme ultimately offered far more than a comparison of lap times.
Extreme temperatures, challenging tyre conditions and the need to adapt the original testing plan provided valuable lessons for both Matyas and the entire team.
A First Collective Test with F4 CEZ Drivers
The 2026 season was designed as an intensive development year for Matyas following his transition from international karting to the Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2 single-seater.
At 14 years of age, he was not yet eligible to compete in F4 CEZ Championship races under the applicable minimum-age requirements.
Participating in a collective test nevertheless allowed him to experience an environment involving professionally prepared Formula 4 cars and more experienced competitors.
According to our team records, approximately forty drivers participated in the testing programme.
For Matyas, this meant adapting to an unfamiliar environment, increased traffic on the circuit and a testing schedule different from the private sessions he had previously experienced.
Beyond driving performance, the day also required him to become familiar with pit-lane procedures, the timing of track exits and the movement of other fast single-seaters completing different test programmes.
Thirteenth After the Opening Session
Understandably, the first session brought a certain amount of nervousness.
Matyas was sharing the circuit with a large group of Formula 4 drivers for the first time and had to adapt quickly to the new testing environment.
Nevertheless, according to our team's timing records, he finished the opening session 13th among approximately forty participants.
For our family-run team, it was an encouraging start.
Naturally, the result could not be treated as a definitive comparison of all the drivers' performance.
During collective testing, teams run different fuel loads, tyre conditions, car setups and testing programmes.
Even so, the opening session demonstrated that Matyas could maintain his concentration in a new environment and gradually build his pace.
According to data recorded by the team, he also reached a speed of approximately 235 km/h at the Slovakia Ring.
Extreme Heat Forces a Change of Plan
As the day progressed, high temperatures became the main challenge.
The tyres were subjected to considerable thermal stress, with operating conditions significantly different from those encountered during previous tests.
As we were attending a single-day session, we had brought a more limited range of technical equipment than teams would normally use during a complete race weekend.
Our allocated working area was also located towards the far end of the paddock, making rapid setup adjustments and tyre management between runs more complicated.
In the extreme heat, the car's handling characteristics began to change noticeably.
As the tyres overheated, their performance moved away from the ideal operating window, making attempts to achieve a single maximum-performance qualifying lap increasingly unproductive.
It became clear that continuing with our original qualifying-pace programme would not be the most effective use of the available track time.
The team therefore made an important decision: change the plan.
From Qualifying Pace to Race-Pace Simulation
Instead of pursuing the fastest possible lap, we shifted our attention to longer runs, consistency and tyre management.
Individual running blocks lasted up to approximately 45 minutes.
Matyas was instructed to monitor changes in grip, adapt his driving style to the condition of the tyres and respond to instructions from the technical team.
An important part of the programme involved completing pre-planned slower laps to reduce the thermal load on the tyres.
This required a different approach from the driver.
The objective was no longer to set one quick lap before returning to the pits.
Matyas needed to maintain concentration over an extended period, control his pace and understand how the car's behaviour changed as the run progressed.
Consistency Becomes the Key Result
The longer runs produced encouraging results for the technical team.
According to our records, Matyas was able to maintain the requested target lap times with variations measured in tenths of a second while also following the planned tyre-cooling procedure.
This represented an important step in his development.
Single-lap speed matters, but so does the ability to repeat a required pace and adapt to changing tyre conditions.
These skills are essential when progressing from relatively short karting sessions to longer single-seater races.
Matyas completed a total of 336 kilometres during the single test day, according to SVC Racing's records.
In demanding temperatures, this represented a significant physical and mental challenge for the driver and an intensive working day for the entire team.
The First Development Stage Completed
At the end of the day, Vladimír Vitver, team principal and Matyas's father, summarised the progress achieved so far:
“We can now close the first stage of our development programme and move on to the second. Matyas has reached this point approximately two to four months earlier than I expected.”
The first stage of the SVC GROUP RACING programme focused primarily on managing the transition from karting to Formula 4.
Matyas gradually learned to operate the single-seater confidently, develop his braking technique, understand tyre behaviour and adapt his driving style to different circuits.
At the same time, he began taking a more active role in technical discussions, providing increasingly accurate feedback about the car's handling characteristics.
Another important objective was to gain experience while minimising unnecessary damage to the car and establishing a reliable foundation for further development.
The F4 CEZ collective test showed that these objectives were being achieved progressively.
A Family Team Learning Alongside Its Driver
The 2026 season was not only Matyas's first year in Formula 4. It was also the first season in the category for the current SVC GROUP RACING technical team.
The team's experience from previous motorsport programmes provides a strong foundation, but the modern Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2 introduced new technical requirements and working procedures.
An important role during testing was played by Lucie Vitverová, who works on race engineering, data and driver communication.
Within the team, she has earned the affectionate nickname GP-Luci.
The preparation of the single-seater was also supported by mechanics Miroslav Michl and Petr Jirák.
Miroslav Michl has a long history with the Vitver family's racing activities, having worked on Vladimír Vitver's earlier Lotus and Audi racing projects.
SVC Racing's relationship with Petr Jirák and his family goes back to the beginning of Matyas's karting career.
The programme's technical direction continues to be led by Vladimír Vitver, drawing on his experience in racing, engineering and developing his own competition cars.
This combination of technical knowledge and a close-knit family atmosphere remains one of the defining characteristics of SVC GROUP RACING.
Stage Two: Higher Demands on Both Driver and Team
Following the test, the team decided to move into the next phase of its development programme.
From a technical perspective, this meant expanding its stock of spare parts, improving paddock equipment and upgrading the communication system between driver and engineers.
The experience at the Slovakia Ring demonstrated the importance of having sufficient technical resources, even during what initially appears to be a straightforward one-day test.
For Matyas, the next stage would involve gradually increasing performance expectations, more detailed data analysis and developing a deeper understanding of the car's limits.
The emphasis would remain on structured, controlled and safe driver development.
Alongside operating its existing training car, the team was also developing its technical infrastructure and preparing the next steps towards the 2027 season.
Looking Ahead to Professional Formula 4 in 2027
For SVC GROUP RACING, the 2026 season was first and foremost about preparation.
Matyas still had many tests, races and new experiences ahead of him.
However, his first collective test alongside F4 CEZ drivers demonstrated that his transition to single-seater racing was progressing well.
It also showed that, in addition to outright speed, he was developing discipline, consistency and the ability to learn from changing track conditions.
Thirteenth place after the opening session was encouraging. But the real achievement of the day was completing 336 kilometres, managing demanding conditions and demonstrating readiness for the next stage of development.
The long-term objective remained clear: preparing Matyas for the next step in international Formula 4 competition in 2027.
Our sincere thanks go to our principal partner SVC GROUP s.r.o., all our other partners and every member of the team who supports this programme.

Two Races in One Day, Challenging Battles and a Formula 4 Victory for Matyas Vitver
My second race weekend in Formula 4 took me to the Slovakia Ring, where I faced a completely new challenge: two races in a single day, both counting towards the championship standings, with very little time to prepare the car between sessions.
My father described our programme at the time as "racing in training mode", and I think that was a very accurate description.
We had deliberately designed the 2026 season as an intensive preparation programme for my future development in single-seater racing.
Every race was an opportunity to gain experience, evaluate the car's setup and learn how to handle situations that cannot be fully reproduced during ordinary testing.
The schedule at the Slovakia Ring was particularly demanding: two free practice sessions, one qualifying session and two separate races.
Championship points were awarded for both races, while the trophy presentation was based on the results of the second race.
Returning to a Familiar Circuit with New Objectives
Approximately three weeks before the race weekend, we completed an intensive two-day test at the Slovakia Ring.
According to our team records, I covered around 1,200 kilometres during those two days.
The test provided a significant amount of information about the behaviour of our Tatuus F4 T-421 Gen 2, tyre performance and the possibilities for further chassis development.
For the race weekend, our mechanics therefore prepared several alternative setup configurations that they wanted to evaluate under racing conditions.
Unfortunately, our plans were disrupted almost immediately.
Both free practice sessions were shortened by red flags, leaving very little opportunity to evaluate the changes properly.
The qualifying setup was also less than ideal. The car did not have the balance I needed to extract the maximum performance over a single lap.
Qualifying itself was interrupted by another red flag.
As a result, I qualified fourth in the Formula 4 class and seventh overall on the starting grid.
It was not the result we had hoped for, but our priority was to understand the situation and prepare the car for the first race.
Race One – A Major Improvement in Pace and a Damaged Front Wing
Before the opening race, our mechanics decided to stop experimenting and return to the proven setup from our earlier test.
It turned out to be exactly the right decision.
From the opening laps, the car felt significantly better. I had more confidence through the corners, could make better use of its performance and began improving my pace.
By lap three, according to our team's lap-time comparison, I was approximately two seconds per lap quicker than the driver leading the race at that stage, allowing me to close the gap considerably.
However, during a subsequent battle for position, contact occurred.
My front wing was damaged, and the incident sent me into the gravel trap.
I lost approximately twelve seconds and two positions.
I managed to rejoin the race, but the aerodynamic damage was noticeable. With part of the front wing missing, the car had less front-end grip, particularly through the faster corners.
It was a completely new experience for me.
I had to adapt my driving to the damaged car while continuing to fight my way back through the field.
Despite these difficulties, I eventually finished third in the Formula 4 class.
Considering the circumstances, it was an important result. More importantly, I gained valuable experience of racing with a damaged single-seater and making decisions during close on-track battles.
Race Two – A Repaired Car and a Fresh Start
Between the two races, our mechanics had very little time to prepare the car.
They needed to replace the damaged nose assembly and front wing, then check and reset the front suspension geometry.
The team completed all the work in time, and I started the second race with a fully repaired car that once again felt exactly as I needed it to.
I lined up sixth overall on the starting grid.
My aim was to avoid unnecessary mistakes, make a clean start and take every reasonable opportunity to overtake.
After the start, I began gaining positions and worked my way up to third place overall and the lead of the Formula 4 class.
From that moment, the race became a different challenge.
Instead of concentrating on overtaking, I had to manage my advantage, remain focused and avoid making a mistake that could undo the team's hard work.
As the laps passed, my nerves gradually settled, allowing me to concentrate on maintaining a consistent rhythm and lap times.
I won the second race in the Formula 4 class.
It was a fantastic feeling and another confirmation that our earlier results had not been a coincidence.
Two Races, Two Very Different Experiences
The Slovakia Ring showed me two different sides of motorsport in a single day.
In the first race, I had to deal with contact, a damaged car, lost positions and a recovery drive.
In the second, I was able to benefit from a well-balanced car, overtake competitors, take the class lead and maintain my position until the chequered flag.
Both experiences were extremely valuable for my development as a driver.
I am still learning to understand the car, assess racing situations correctly and provide the technical team with feedback that helps improve its setup.
This is precisely why we decided to complete my first Formula 4 season with our family-run team.
Our objective is not simply to achieve individual results, but to gain genuine racing experience and build a strong foundation for the next stage of my career.
A Huge Thank You to SVC GROUP RACING
I would like to thank everyone involved in my racing programme and the preparation of our Formula 4 car.
First of all, I am grateful to our partner SVC GROUP s.r.o., whose support makes this project possible.
Special thanks go to our race engineer L. Vitverová, mechanics Petr Jirák and Miroslav Michl, Ladislav Brázdil for his technical support and data analysis, and of course our team principal, my father Vladimír Vitver.
Our mechanics played a particularly important role between the two races. Thanks to their quick and precise work, I was able to start the second race with a fully prepared car and fight for victory.
I am equally grateful to all our other partners and everyone supporting us on this journey.
Another Step Forward in My First Formula 4 Season
I left the Slovakia Ring with third place from the opening race, victory in the second and, most importantly, a great deal of new experience.
For me personally, it represented another important step in the transition from junior karting to single-seater racing.
For our entire team, it was further proof that we can not only prepare a fast racing car but also respond effectively to technical problems and manage a demanding race programme.
Every race takes us another step forward. And that is exactly what our first Formula 4 season is all about.
